Inside Sales & Customer Account Representative

AlphaGraphics Charlotte is a growing commercial printing company helping businesses bring their ideas to life through custom print, signage, and marketing solutions.We're looking for an organized, proactive Inside Sales & Customer Account Representative to support our outside sales team, manage customer orders, and deliver an exceptional customer experience.

This is a business-to-business (B2B) role that combines customer relationship management, sales support, and project coordination. You'll work directly with customers and internal teams to ensure orders are accurate, deadlines are met, and projects run smoothly from initial inquiry through completion.We're looking for someone who enjoys solving problems, takes ownership of their work, and wants to contribute to a team where quality, accountability, and collaboration matter.

What You'll Do

• Support the sales team: Partner with outside sales representatives to manage customer requests, coordinate orders, and keep projects moving.
• Manage customer orders: Enter and review orders, ensuring pricing, quantities, specifications, artwork, and deadlines are accurate and complete.
• Coordinate projects: Work closely with estimating, production, and other internal teams to communicate requirements, manage timelines, and address potential issues.
• Build customer relationships: Serve as a dependable point of contact for business customers, responding to inquiries and providing proactive updates.
• Manage quotes and follow-up: Track customer inquiries, outstanding quotes, order changes, and next steps to ensure timely responses.
• Solve problems: Identify challenges early, coordinate solutions, and communicate clearly with customers and teammates.
• Identify opportunities: Recognize customer needs and opportunities for additional products, services, or repeat business.
• Improve how we work: Help strengthen processes, organization, and communication to improve efficiency and the customer experience.
  
  What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dependable, comfortable working with business customers, and able to manage multiple priorities without losing track of important details.

Qualifications:

• Experience in inside sales, B2B customer service, account coordination, order management, or a similar customer-facing business role.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build professional relationships.
• Excellent organization, attention to detail, and follow-through.
• Ability to manage multiple orders, deadlines, and customer requests in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfort working with email, spreadsheets, order management systems, and other business software.
• A proactive, solutions-oriented approach and willingness to work collaboratively across teams.Preferred Experience:
• Commercial printing, signage, promotional products, packaging, or custom manufacturing.
• Experience supporting outside sales teams or coordinating orders through production.
• Familiarity with estimating, quoting, CRM, or print order management software.

Print industry experience is valuable, but we're also interested in candidates with strong transferable skills and a willingness to learn.
